Justyna Bołoz

Vice-President of the Management Board

A graduate of social policy and media management at the Jagiellonian University. Since 2015, she has been actively involved in the Association’s activities and broadly understood activism for LGBTQ people. She’s an organizer of numerous protests and demonstrations, experienced in working with the media and minority groups. Specialist in European Funds for rural areas, dealing with, among other things, the professional activation of people from disadvantaged groups and those at risk of exclusion. Her interests focus on socio-political issues.

Daniel Czepiński

Secretary of the Management Board

A member of the Management Board of the Queer May Association since 2023, LGBTQ+ activist, cultural animator, and exhibitions’ curator. He has been involved with the Queer May Festival and the Equality March in Krakow since 2014. In 2015-2017, he was the Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Queer May Association. He graduated from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow with a degree in Cultural Heritage Protection. Privately, he is a collector of young art and a lover of poetry and literature.

Miko Sadowski

Chair of the Audit Committee

Chemical engineer and activist. He graduated from the Krakow University of Technology, where he is currently working on his doctorate. He runs workshops and is involved in popularizing science. Active among Krakow’s queer community and in the academic field.

A graduate of Polish philology and journalism at the Jagiellonian University, for ten years she was the editor of Queer.pl, the largest and oldest LGBTQIA media outlet in Poland. Since 2012, she has been a co-organizer of the Queer May Festival and the Equality March in Krakow. She has been a member of the board of the Równość.org.pl Foundation since 2013. In recent years, she has supported local LGBTQIA communities, also acting as an advocate for equality and diversity in Krakow. She has co-organized numerous demonstrations and studies on the situation of the LGBTQIA community in southern Poland, and has carried out projects related to, among others, monitoring freedom of assembly and advocacy at the local level. In 2020-2023, she collaborated with Maciej Gdula, a member of the Polish Parliament, and since February 2024, she has been working with Katarzyna Kotula, Minister for Equality.
